Sailing Instruction
Private Lessons
Our private sailing lessons are the quickest way to become competent in sailing. In your first lesson you will spend about 15 minutes on land learning the basics. The rest of the time will be spent on the water. Lessons are on an hourly basis* and require a reservation.
Hobie Wave $60
Hobie Wave w/ jib $70
Hobie Getaway $80
*Prices good for one student - one additional student can be added for $15 and the lesson is 75 minutes.
Sailing Packages
Learn to Sail Beginner Package
Your vacation time is short but you’ve got World Cup Dreams! This package will give you a solid foundation to begin your wind/water addiction.
2-one hour lessons on the Hobie Wave
2-one hour rentals (must finish by noon)
Cost: $165 (a $45 saving over regular price)
Full Season Sailing Package
You’re living the beach lifestyle and part of that lifestyle is sailing! This package will leave you feeling confident on our waters and ready to impress all of your friends.
2-one hour lessons on the Hobie Wave

2-one hour rentals on the Hobie Wave w/jib (must finish by noon)
1-one hour lesson on the Hobie Getaway (16’)

Jr. Sailing Package
Ideal for kids as young as 9 years old
1-one hour lesson on the Hobie Wave
2-45 minute lessons on the Hobie Wave
Cost: $125 (a $25 savings over regular price)

Full payment required at first lesson * Reservations required for lessons * package price for one person - second person can be included at a discounted rate * Minimum age for packages is 15 (minimum age for Jr. package is 9) * Reservations not accepted for rentals * At least one person 21 yrs. old or older required on boat with rentals * Coastal Kayak reserves the right to limit rentals depending on student’s abilities and weather conditions * no refunds
