Mitch Mitchell
Owner and head instructor. With a long background in teaching and
coaching sports. A former collegiate All-American athlete, college and
professional coach, Mitch has his spent a lot of time helping
people reach their goals. Mitch has been kayaking for 15 years, is
certified by the American Canoe Association as an Instructor Trainer in
open water coastal kayaking. (he trains and certifies the teachers) In
addition, Mitch is a Level 3 British Canoe Union Coach and 4-star
paddler.
Jenifer Adams-Mitchell
Owner and integral part of Coastal Kayak, Jenifer manages the beach,
rental and tour operations. Jenifer is originally from Loup City,
Nebraska and graduated from Nebraska Wesleyan College. She has done a
great deal of traveling speaks fluent Spanish and lived in both Costa
Rica and Mexico. Jenifer has a strong devotion to protecting the
environment and spends much of her time off season volunteering. She is
also on the board of directors of the Friends of the Fakahatchee (the
only royal palm, cypress swamp in the world and is located in the
Everglades of South Florida)

Ken Arni Ken is one of our
most dedicated paddlers. A former Boy Scout Leader and avid outdoorsman
he has taken naturally to kayaking. With a bombproof roll and a great
understanding of the environment, he is one of our most popular
lead guides.
Bob Kotowski Bob is one of Coastal Kayak's senior
staffers. The retired journalist has been with Coastal Kayak for four
years. Bob is one of Coastal Kayak's sailing instructors, is a lead kayak tour guide, and assists with kayak and sailboat rentals
on our beach.
Bob
has 31 years sailing experience. He has owned and sailed a variety of
boats ranging in size from a sunfish to a 32-foot sloop. Bob has Coastal
Piloting and Navigation certification and holds a U.S. Coast Guard
Auxiliary Safe Boating certificate. In addition, Bob has been kayaking
for seven years. Bob and his wife Paula live near Rehoboth Beach.
Teresa Luzier
Teresa
is a long time Delaware resident. She teaches 8th grade special
education during the school year and is an assistant tour guide for
Coastal Kayak during the summer. Teresa can often be found kayaking and
clamming off of Assateague Island.
